Lighthouse Photo's By: Daniel Williard Welcome to Saving Lights. These photo's were taken in June of 2005 and after seeing the beauty of these lighthouses, I could only wonder how they might look at different times of the day and evening and decided to recreate them to show the beauty and wonder of these magnificent lighthouses. Each picture is printed on fine Kodak matted paper which brings out the beauty of the lighthouse. I took a week off from my work at www.replacementremotes.com and www.anderic.com to visit all seven of the North Carolina Lighthouses. These are actual photo's that were taken of Cape Hatteras, Bald Head, Ocracoke, Oak Island, Cape Lookout, Currituck and Bodie (pronounced Body) named after the many body's that were washed up on the shore because of many shipwrecks before the lighthouse was built. Incorporated in these works are the beautiful sunsets and sunrises of the Outter Banks. Already I have had several Art Galleries display my work and are selling them framed for much more.
